To make your stay safe, we ask you to pay attention to the safety guidelines that apply for machine operation:
To operate any machine there must be a member of the LCTC team present to supervise and manage the machine operations.
When climbing on and off any eqipment always maintain three points of contact.
There are designated paths within the demo area. All visitors must utilise these and stay within the designated areas when moving to and from machines.
Depending on the area you will be visiting, specific safety equipment may be required.
Visitors must wear boots or closed-toe shoes. High heels or open-toe shoes are not allowed.
For Machine Operation, visitors must wear long trousers. Shorts and skirts will not be permitted for machine operation.
High visibility vest is mandatory for any activity related to machines and will be provided at the LCTC when required.
Please bring anti-cut gloves if you are going to be working hands-on with the machines.
On the Factory Tour there are further health and safety considerations which will be explained in the pre-tour briefing. As this is an active production line, extra care must be taken of hazards including moving equipment and personnel.
Steel toe shoes are required for entering the factory. It is recommended for you to bring your own wherever possible. However, we are able to supply these if necessary.
Safety glasses and hi-vis vest will be provided by LCTC for the tour.
